				In the circuit of ideas, of the academic and scientific spaces of the community of Portuguese-speaking universities, the return to symbolic and communicational devices brings to the forefront of public discussion the starting point of the politician that politics seeks, in a moment of crisis and greater difficulty , capture, maneuver, influence, constrain. Therefore, this thematic issue – Communication and Politics – based on readings and strategies that range from communication to politics, from society to language, from innovation to inclusion, from education to artificial intelligence, seeks to scrutinize other possible vectors of analysis on democratic practices in Portuguese speaking countries.
